Premier Steven Marshall has put South Australia on the highest alert following the delisting of Kyle Cheney from the Adelaide Crows.

As news broke earlier this evening that Cheney would not have his contract renewed, flights at Adelaide Airport were grounded while border checkpoints with Victoria were reinforced.

Premier Marshall advised all citizens to remain calm, but to stay indoors for the foreseeable future.

“The reality is that there will be an attack following Kyle’s delisting. We don’t know when or where, but we know it will happen.”

“Call your loved ones and tell them you love them. We won’t be able to keep you safe.”

Police sources have revealed that threats to public buildings had been made by the notorious Gallucci Crime Gang, while the Adelaide Crows administration have been taken into witness protection.
