Out of contract and in demand free agent Tom Lynch has sensationally signed a three year contract with the Adelaide Crows.
The star forward, who has demonstrated an ability to win the ball both in the air and on the ground, rejected offers from several Victorian clubs, including Saint Kilda and Collingwood.
Lynch, who has captained his side this year, had reportedly flown to Melbourne earlier this year to look at houses, although this report was filed by Sam McClure and immediately dismissed as false at the time.
The signing comes as a shock to Victorian journalists, who were unable to comprehend that anyone would want to sign with the South Australian club.
More to come.
