Following the landmark deal by Disney to secure naming rights over Etihad Stadium, Warner Brothers has entered a deal with the SANFL to rename the famous AAMI Stadium to DC Comics Stadium.
SANFL President John Olsen praised the deal, saying that it would reinvigorate fan interest in the abandoned ground.
“We are going to rename the Northern stand and call it the Superman stand. We’ll redo the lights so that they project bat symbols instead of lighting the ground sufficiently.”
“We’ll bring back the Crows cheerleaders and call them the Wonder Women.”
When questioned by the Journal as to why they would pay money to name a disused stadium, Warner Brothers was steadfast.
“This is the Adelaide Crows training facility. There is no finer stadium in the land. Plus Rory Sloane is Batman so it was a natural fit for us.”
“Plus we anticipate we can bring crowds in through the week by putting Suicide Squad up on the big screens.
