Sydney support Oscar Dunkley-Smith has woken up this morning upset that his team couldn’t get the win against a resilient Adelaide outfit.
The 30 year old investment banker from Paddington is particularly confused because he mistakenly understood that the Wallabies would be taking the field.
“If I have to blame the loss on anything, its the referees. The opposition team was passing forward. Thats not allowed. Not one of their players got sent to the sin bin either.”
“We really missed Michael Hooper. Bernard Foley should have been paying five eighth.”
When told that he had actually attended a game of Australian Rules Football, Dunkley-Smith was baffled.
“What is that? Do the All-Blacks play in that competition? They probably win the thing all the time.”
“Buddy was good though.”
