Reports have emerged today that a gruelling pre season camp has left Adelaide Crows players distressed after they were forced to endure O-Week at a Sydney University Residential College.

After a disappointing end to the 2017 season, the Adelaide coaching staff elected to challenge the players both physically and mentally by blindfolding them and dropping them in the middle of St Andrews College in Newtown, NSW.

“I’ve never felt more violated in my life” said Crows wingman Rory Atkins. “I literally just felt like piece of meat that the college students felt they could use for whatever they felt necessary.”

The Journal understands that many players were subject to sexual objectification and assault, including star recruit Bryce Gibbs.

“Everyone thinks I cut my hair for charity. The real reason I cut it is because of what was in the shampoo that I used.”

“I haven’t been able to sleep since.”
