Sotheby’s London Principal Auctioneer, Tim McIntyre, has today listed an item that is truly priceless: The Graham John Clock.
Considered the ‘Holy Grail’ of fine art and design, this piece developed by Australian Beat Artist ‘Scrog’ is “one of a kind”.
McIntyre expects the bidding to start at a billion dollars with interest coming from all major global communities.
“There’s been a lot of interest from the Vatican and the Saudi Royal Family,” McIntyre said.
“The Getty Museum has appealed to all our expected bidders to have the John Clock put on display for the world to see but that remains the buyers choice.”
“When you think of amazing art, you think of van Gogh’s Starry Night, Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and Scrog’s John Clock.”
Rob Chapman is expected to win the bid using his pocket change.
