Extraordinary revelations from the personal diary of pop sensation Michael Jackson reveal that he stole his signature ‘one glove’ look from Adelaide Crows powerhouse Ian Perrie.
Hollywood reporters today discovered the diary during a garage sale at the home of Jackson’s son, Prince Michael ‘Doughty’ Jackson.
In an excerpt from the diary, the King of Pop discusses how he saw a young Ian Perrie playing football at a local park during the Australian leg of his Bad world tour.
“I saw the most incredible child today. Tall, strong, fast and sleek.. in his eyes his determination showed.. and on his hand.. a single glove. When I asked who the boy his name he said.. Sarge.”
While Jackson would go on to sell over 350 million records and etch his name into music and cultural history, Perrie went on to became terror personified for AFL defenders and kicked 129 goals over 116 games.
Jackson’s estate could not be reached for comment.
